Enzo Zidane, the oldest son of former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has signed for French Ligue 2 side, Rodez.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who came through the ranks of Real Madrid, signed a one-year contract with the club where he has family ties.
His father, Zinedine has been a shareholder at the club since 2012 and his mother, Veronique, is from the town.
Rodes official statement says: “Enzo joins Rodez Aveyron Football with humility and the desire to get back to enjoying himself.”
Since leaving Real Madrid in 2017 – sold while his father was the manager – Enzo has played for Alaves in the Spanish second division, Lausanne in Switzerland and CD Aves in the Portuguese second division most recently, Almeria.
Enzo will wear the number ‘5’ jersey for Rodez, the same number his father wore while playing for Real Madrid, and will hope to get his career back on track.
