Inter Milan star, Ashley Young, is closing in on a return to Aston Villa, according to Sky Sports.
The 35-year-old’s representatives are finalising personal terms with Villa, and should no issue arise, he is expected to have a medical in less than 24 hours.
During his first spell with Villa (2007–2011), he played 157 games and scored 30 goals.
A one-year contract with the option of another year is being discussed.
Young wants to give up Champions League football with Inter Milan in order to be closer to his family in England.
He won the Serie A title with Inter Milan last season.
