Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses celebrated his third goal of the season when he helped Spartak Moscow beat Rostov 3-2 on Sunday evening.
The 30-year-old played in the right wing-back position of a 3-4-3 formation and the Spartak no.8 delivered for 35-year-old German Coach Domenico Tedesco as they chase the Russian League title.
“What a team performance. Massive three points today. Buzzing to an on the scoresheet again,” Moses shared on his instagram timeline after the match.
Moses opened the scoring after finishing a pass from Nail Umyarov but an own goal from Pavel Maslov leveled matters before Georgi Makhatadze gave the home side the lead.
Aleksandr Sobolev scored a second half brace to hand Spartak Moscow a precious 3-2 away win inside the Rostov Arena. Moses was replaced by Andrei Eshchenko in the 90th minute.
Spartak Moscow strengthened their grip on second with 47 points, just one behind league leaders Zenit St. Petersburg, who host Khimki at the Gazprom Arena on Monday.
