UCL: Benitez gives words of advice Liverpool could use against Real

Rafael Benitez has opened up on how Liverpool could approach their game against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

The Reds trail the Spanish giants after a 3-1 first leg loss at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on the 6th of April.

Jurgen Klopp’s men head into the game with a mission to turn the tie around and make it to the semi-final.

Speaking to The Telegraph (via Mirror), Benitez said: “It’s really important Liverpool start with intensity and start well but at the same time not to rush the match, not to panic if they don’t score early.

“Concentrate, keep the balance, have a clean sheet if possible and even if a first goal comes quite late they will still have time to score again with the quality of players they have.”
