The domestic initially were initially selected to represent the team in the highly-anticipated friendly, but two foreign professionals will now join the squad
There will be some foreign influence in the Super Eagles team that takes on Mexico in the international friendly clash between the two teams on Sunday.
Only players from the Nigeria Professional Football League were selected for the clash after the foreign professionals and regulars made themselves unavailable.
However, Allballerzone can now confirm that two foreign players will join the squad- although the two players are first time invitees.
Tottenham Hotspur u-23 goalkeeper Joshua Olayemi and CF Montréal forward Ibrahim Sunusi have been called up to the squad.
The two players will join the squad in the United States where the game will take place. Olayemi was called up as a replacement for the injured Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
The 68-year-old joined the squad in the United States and led them in their first training session. The match takes place in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
