The Super Sunday clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool ends in a draw following controversial decisions.
Tottenham didn’t waste time before taking the lead after Harry Kane hit a low shot from the right past Alisson Becker in the 13th minute.
After different missed chances from Spurs, Liverpool got an equalizer, after Diogo Jota headed home a cross from Andrew Robertson in the 35th minute.
In the 69th minute, Liverpool took the lead, after the referee controversially ignored Spurs penalty call, and Robertson headed home a shot-cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Five minutes later, Tottenham levelled matters, following a miscue from goalkeeper, Alisson, who failed to clear a through ball and Heung-Min Son tapped in to an empty net.
In the 77th minute, Liverpool were reduced to 10, after Robertson kicked Emerson Royal in an attempt to clear the ball. The referee initially gave a yellow card, but changed it to a red card, after checking the VAR.
Spurs’ unbeaten Premier League run under Antonio Conte continues, as Liverpool lose ground on Manchester City on the log.
