Wilfred Ndidi | The Lagos-born midfielder returned to the starting lineup and showed what Leicester City have been missing as he produced a solid performance in the Foxes’ 1-1 draw with Leeds United. He had game-highs for tackles (six) and clearances (seven), while also intercepting two passes.
Cyril Dessers | The Leuven-born striker is becoming the late goals hero for Feyenoord – his fourth for the Dutch side this season. The Super Eagles striker came on in the 81st minute with the game still goalless, and he scored the only goal of the encounter in the 91st minute to secure all three points for his club.
Joe Aribo | The Camberwell-born midfielder was the hero for Rangers as he put up a man-of-the-match performance to help them come from behind to beat Ross County 4-2. Aribo scored a goal – third this season – from his three shots and provided an assist – third this season – from his two key passes in the match.
Honourable mention | Former MFM FC striker, Stephen Odey was named the player of the month of October for his superb performance for Randers FC, scoring three goals in four league matches. He now has 11 goals in all competitions so far this season
