All Baller Zone look at the biggest performing Nigerians in the world of football over the weekend, including the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), and below are the selected Naija superstars.
Samuel Chukwueze | One of the major problems of the 21-year-old forward’s game is his final balls, but in Villarreal’s 5-1 thumping of Levante, Chukwueze was on fire. The Super Eagles star hit eight shots in the encounter, with four of them hitting the target, and he got two goals to his name.
Paul Onuachu | The lanky striker is showing why he is the most prolific Nigerian striker week in week out, and in Genk’s 3-2 loss to Antwerp on the final day, he scored the two goals for his side, winning the highest goal scorer in the regular season of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Kelechi Iheanachi | Senioman Kels, as he is fondly called is one of the most in-form Nigerian players, scoring goals with ease. Iheanacho scored the only goal for Leicester City’s 1-0 over Southampton, to send the Foxes to their first FA Cup final in over five decades.
