Chidera Ejuke | The Zaria-born forward was impressive for CSKA Moscow’s in their 3-1 win over Krylya Sovetov. Ejuke got on the score sheet to make it 1-1 for the home side, his fourth league goal of the season. He was named the man of the match for his brilliant performance.
Dennis Emmanuel | The Abuja-born striker was voted the second-best player in Watford’s surprise 5-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park. He featured for just 26 minutes, after coming on in the 64th minute, and he provided two assists before scoring the last goal of the match.
Taiwo Awoniyi | The Ilorin-born striker equaled his best season tally in Union Berlin’s 1-1 draw with Stuttgart. He found the back of the net in the 37th minute, but Union could not hold on for their fifth win of the season, as the hosts equalized in the third minute of added time. He now has seven league goals in the Bundesliga and 11 in all competitions for the German side.
