Leon Balogun | The Germany-born Super Eagles defender had a superb performance in Rangers defeating arch-rivals Celtic in the Old Firm derby. He was solid defensively, winning a game-high of four tackles and seven clearances. He was named the man of the match.
Semi Ajayi | United Kingdom defender was the hero for West Bromwich Albion in their narrow one-nil away win over Peterborough. He helped the Baggies keep a clean sheet with tackles and clearances, winning six aerial duels, and he scored the only goal of the encounter in the 94th minute.
Taiwo Awoniyi | The Ilorin-born forward continued his impressive start to the season in Union Berlin’s surprise 2-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, scoring the second goal for the home side, making it three goals in three consecutive games, and his fifth goal in all competitions so far this campaign.
