Taiwo Awoniyi | The 24-year-old is enjoying life in Germany as he continued from where he left off on matchday one, getting his name on the score sheet again in Union Berlin’s 2-2 draw against Kevin Akpoguma’s Hoffenheim. His goal was his team’s second to help them win an away point.
Joe Aribo | The London-born midfielder put up a brilliant performance that got his manager and Liverpool legend, manager Steven Gerrard talking. In Ranger’s 4-2 away win over Ross County, Aribo scored the broke the deadlock in the encounter and Gerrard could not hide his admiration for the Nigerian, saying: “It was a fantastic finish and we want him to keep doing that.”
Odion Jude Ighalo | The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer and former Manchester United striker was at his goalscoring form in Al Shabab’s 3-3 draw against Ettifaq. Ighalo played for the entire duration of the match and he scored a brace – his team’s first and second goal – in the 39th and 49th minutes.
