Victor Osimhen | The Lagos-born striker has had an impressive preseason, and in Napoli’s 2-1 win over Ascoli, Osimhen was instrumental. The 22-year-old striker won the penalty for the opening goal. He has had a brilliant preseason and will hope to replicate it in the season.
Wilfred Ndidi | The Lagos-born midfielder was solid for Leicester City in the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the FA Community Shield. He made five tackles, two clearances, and a game-high of three interceptions. Solid defensive midfield display from Ndidi.
Kelechi Iheanacho | Another solid performance from Senior man Kels. In just 12 minutes, the Owerri-born forward was the hero for Leicester City as they picked up their second trophy. Iheanacho was a 78th-minute substitute and after 10 minutes, he won and converted a penalty to help the Foxes win the Community Shield.
