Nigerian sprint star, Divine Oduduru now has a breath of fresh air, after he qualified for the semifinal of the men’s 200m heat 1, after finishing second in his race.
Oduduru had a disappointing start to his Tokyo 2020 campaign after he was disqualified in the heat of the men’s 100m for a false start. He has now recovered in the 200m and qualified for the semifinal.
The 24-year-old ran wide in lane 9 of heat 1, and he finished second with a time of 20.36 seconds, behind Rasheed Dwyer of Jamaica. He has now qualified for the semifinal, as he hopes to win an Olympic gold medal.
