Super Eagles duo, Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun got off to a flying start in the Scottish premier league as they helped Rangers hammer Livingston 3-0 at Ibrox on the opening day of the 2021/22 season.

Rangers took thier preseason form into the new season as Ianis Hagi finished off a pass from James Tavernier inside the first 10minutes to give them the lead.
Joe Aribo made way for new signing John Lundstram in the 64th minute and four minutes later, Tavernier created his second assists of the match when he played in Scott Wright, who made no mistake with his strike to make it 2-0.
Kemar Roofe ensured that it was an emphatic start for the reigning champions when he fired past Maksymilian Stryjek in goal for Livingston to end the match 3-0.
Rangers will return to domestic action on August 7 when they travel away to face Dundee United while Livingston will host Aberdeen on August 8.
