Suarez bite back at Barcelona as Atlético Madrid win at home

Luis Suarez has finally scored against Barcelona as Atlético Madrid defeat the Catalan giants 2-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Former Barcelona forward, Luis Suarez, Thomas Lemar, and Joao Felix combined for the first two goals, as the host launched a counterattack in the 23rd minute, and Felix gave the pass to the Uruguayan, who sent a beautiful through ball to Lemar, and the Frenchman blasted the ball past Marc-André ter Stegen.

Seconds before the break, the capital club made it 2-0, with the same trio combining for the goal from another counter-attack, as Felix’s pass went to Lemar, who sent in a chipped pass to Suarez, and the former Barcelona striker cooly finished the ball.

Barcelona’s finally lost a La Liga game are 9th on the log, while Atlético Madrid have now won the second league game against the Catalan giants in the league, and they sit second, level on points with leaders, Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
