Manchester United managers, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed when two of his latest signings would join training ahead of the 2021/22 season, ABZ can report.
The Red Devils wrapped up pre-season friendlies yesterday with a comprehensive 4-0 demolition of Everton at Old Trafford in front of 50, 000 fans – the highest they’ve had since the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.
Solskjaer is happy with his team’s preparation and can’t wait for latest signings Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane to join the rest of the group next week.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Solskjaer said: “The medical with Raphael [still] has to be done. He’s isolating at the moment. He had to wait for visas, so unfortunately that took a few more days than expected but we’re going to follow the protocols and the rules, so it’s taken a few more days than we hoped for.
“Jadon is in for Monday and hopefully then he’s in decent nick and can be involved [against Leeds].”
Manchester United will begin the new Premier League season with a clash against Leeds United at Old Trafford on August 14.
