Mohamed Salah extended his record by scoring a hat trick as Liverpool thrashed Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Liverpool broke the deadlock in the 5th minute, picking up United on the break and Salah got away from Maguire before laying it to Keita to his right and he then fired past De Gea.
Liverpool made it 2-0 in the 14th minute following a mistake at the back by Maguire and Shaw, and Keita picks it up on the edge of the box, who lays it out to Alexander-Arnold to the right, who drills a low cross into the six-yard box and Jota is there at the far post to slide in and fire it into the back of the net.
Salah made it 3-0 in the 38th minute, after the ball fell to his feet and he fired it past De Gea. The Egyptian then scored his brace and Liverpool’s 4th in the fifth minute of added time, after sliding the ball to the bottom right corner of the net.
Things got from bad to worse for Manchester United, as second-half substitute, Paul Pogba picked of a red card on the hour mark for a rash challenge on Nabil Keita.
The Reds started the second half like they ended the first, as Mo Salah scored his hat trick in the 50th minute, following a through ball from Jordan Henderson, and Salah calmly placed the ball past the keeper.
Salah has now extended his club record by scoring in 10 consecutive matches for Liverpool. The Egyptian also became the first visiting player to score a hat trick at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Manchester United have now suffered their heaviest defeat at Old Trafford against Liverpool as they sit seventh on the log, while the Reds moved to second on the Premier League table.
