Five-time Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has picked up his first award since his return to Manchester United, ABZ can report.
The 36-year-old is set to make his 200th appearance for the Red Devils this afternoon if selected by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Everton in the Premier League Match-Day 7.
Ronaldo beat David de Gea, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood for the September Player of the Month among Manchester United players.
The Portugal Captain scored twice on his second debut for the club and has followed it up with some match winning performances especially against Villarreal last week where he scored a late winner.
The former Real Madrid forward also scored on his European debut for Manchester United against Young Boys to beat an outstanding de Gea to the Player of the Month award.
Last months winner, Mason Greenwood who just turned 20 did not score in September while Lingard scored the winner against West Ham and provided the assist for Ronaldo against Villarreal.
