Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, has criticized Kelechi Iheanacho after his side’s 3-0 win over West Brom, saying the Super Eagles forward makes a lot of mistakes.
Kelechi scored the third goal of the game after Jamie Vardy and Jonny Evans put Leicester two goals up inside 26 minutes.
The goal meant the Nigerian continued his fine form for the 2016 Premier League champions who currently sit third on the league table.
Speaking to BT Sport (via BBC), Rodgers said: “It was a good win, any win is a big win. Our intensity was really good in the first half hour. I wasn’t happy at half time as our passing wasn’t good enough.
“I am not thinking about the other teams, we have to think about ourselves. We can only control ourselves.
“Jamie Vardy has done it throughout his career and Kelechi Iheanacho is now showing his qualities – he can still improve as he is still making too many mistakes, but he is getting in there.”
According to Transfermarkt, Iheanacho has scored 16 goals for Leicester City this season.
