The combination of Enugu Rangers’ wing wizard, Ibrahim Olawoyin and Kwara United left back, Lawal Murtala was the highpoint of the super eagles B first training ahead of the international friendly against the El-Tri of Mexico.
The two stars gave a good account of themselves as they provided a unique threat down the left flank in the practice game.
Super Eagles B team concluded their first training session Wednesday morning at the FIFA goal project pitch inside the Abuja national stadium ahead of the Mexico friendly on July 3rd.
NFF head of technical department, Augustin Eguavoen took charge of the training session alongside former flying eagles coach, Paul Aigbogun with Gernot Rohr in attendance as an observer.
A breakdown of the training saw coach, Eguavoen set up Team A with the likes of Nwabali, Olusesi, Lawal, Anaemena, Nwaeze, Shimaga, Nnoshiri, Olawoyin, Zulkifilu and Atshimene.
Team B had Ikechukwu Ezenwa in goal, Sanusi, Ndah, Kazie, Tebo, Mayi, Uche, Stephen, Ali and Ezekwe.
Team A defeated Team B, 1-0 with Enugu Rangers winger Ibrahim Olawoyin scoring the only goal of the practice game, assisted by Kwara Utd defender, Lawal Murtala.
Enyimba trio, John Noble, Dayo Ojo and Anayo Iwuala are expected in camp on Thursday after their rescheduled league game against Abia Warriors.
Meanwhile the coaching crew has extended invitation to, Rivers United attacker, Sunday Adetunji to shore up the striking position.
