FC Porto were unable to replicate their previous performance against Juventus as they fell to a 0-2 loss to Premier League side Chelsea at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday night.
Thomas Tuchel’s side comfortably won the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie but Porto manager, Sérgio Conceição claimed they had a good game against the English side but were unlucky to have lost.
“It was a good game on our part. We are not happy and it is not deserved to be at a disadvantage in the tie. We had personality and character, but we are playing games at the highest level,” he said.
“We believe it. From what we knew before and more after this game.”
The second leg comes up next week 13th of April, 2021 at the same stadium in Seville.
