Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen was impressive for Nigeria, as the Super Eagles beat Liberia 2-0 in Morocco.
Nigeria broke the deadlock early on after Kelechi “seniorman Kels” was brought down in the 18-yard box, and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen stepped up to the plate and scored the resulting spot-kick to give the Super Eagles a 1-0 lead.
Late in the game, Osimhen won a penalty, after Liberia’s goalkeeper Boison de Souza brought him down, and captain Ahmed Musa scored the penalty, sending the keeper the wrong way.
Nigeria remain top of the table with 12 points from 5 games, while Liberia remain third on the table. Cape Verde are second, after coming from behind to beat Central Africa Republic 2-1
