Real Madrid star, Luka Modric has finally signed new contract with the Spanish capital club ahead of next season.
The Croatian international has been a vital player for the club for years and earned a new contract due to his performance in the just-concluded season.
In the last game of the 2020-21 La Liga season, Modric scored the winner against UEFA Europa League finalist Villarreal at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano stadium.

Real Madrid released an official statement on their website to confirm Luka Modric’s new deal.
“Real Madrid C. F. and Luka Modrić have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains with the club until June 30, 2022,” the club stated.
Modric joined Real Madrid from Tottenham in 2012 and he has gone on to be one the best midfielders in the history of the club.
