Captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa has left Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars and has joined Turkish side, Fatih Karagumruk.
The 28-year-old forward joined Kano Pillars for free in April, after being without a club for six months, following his departure from Saudi Arabia side, Al Nassr in October 2020.
An official statement from the Istanbul club reads: “We have added the 28-year-old Nigerian attacker to our squad. He played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City in his career. He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team.
“We wish success to Ahmed Musa under the Karagümrük jersey, signed by our Vice President Serkan Hurma and our Sporting Director Murat Akın.”
