Antonio Conte has left his role as manager of Inter Milan, the club has confirmed.
Prior to his departure, there was report of disagreement between the former Chelsea manager and the club over transfers.
Conte helped build a side that won the club’s first Serie A title since 2010.
A statement on the club’s website reads: “FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Antonio Conte for the termination of his contract by mutual consent. The Club would like to thank Antonio for the extraordinary work that he has done, culminating in Inter’s 19th top-flight title. Antonio Conte will forever remain a part of our Club’s history.”
It is not yet clear where he will be heading, but Tottenham Hotspur could be a destination for the Italian.
