Nigeria are rated favourites to win the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and will play in Group D after the draws held in Yaounde, Cameroon was concluded on Tuesday.
Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles will be up against the most successful team in AFCON competitions, Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau in Group D.
The last time Nigeria played Egypt at the African Cup of Nations group stage was in 2010. The game ended 3-1 in favour of the Pharoahs with Chinedu Ogbuke scoring the lone goal for Nigeria.
