Manchester United transfer target, Declan Rice, has said he hopes Jesse Lingard remains at West Ham United after this season.
During the last transfer window, Lingard joined West Ham on loan until the end of the season.
Since joining the Hammers, he has been in great form, helping David Moyes’s side to their current 6th position on the Premier League table.
Speaking on a Sky One TV show (via MEN), Rice said: “I hope he does. I really hope he does. He has changed the squad completely.
“From the first session, he is brave on the ball, he is always on the half turn, he is always facing forward. That’s the player we needed.”
Lingard’s contract with United expires in the summer of 2022, and the club may want to sell him now that he is in good form.
