Kieran Trippier ‘has told’ his England teammates he is keen on joining Manchester United, according to MEN.
The Atletico Madrid right full-back is a target for Man United, who are looking to improve their defence ahead of next season.
According to Marca, Atletico Madrid want to replace Trippier with Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, who has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Betis.
Trippier was a key member of Atletico’s La Liga winning side, and will bring a wealth of experience, should he complete the move to Old Trafford.
Last season, United finished second in the Premier League. The Reds will be looking to improve their form next term and end their trophy drought.
