Man United Make Big Transfer Decision On Red Hot Haaland

Manchester United have made Erling Haaland their number one striker target, in this summers transfer market. The Red Devils see the player as a solution to their ever reoccurring scoring problem. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have scored just four goals in their last 5 matches and the manager describes it as really poor.

Haaland has been in impressive form since joining Dortmund, having reached the 20 goal mark in the UEFA Champions league surpassing the record of many great players before him. The form of the Norwegian has attracted the attention of big European clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.

Haaland’s agent revealed that the striker will like to earn £350k per week at his next club and Manchester United seems to be the only club that can afford this wage demand by the player. Solskjaer’s long-standing coach relationship with Haaland during their time at Molde in Norway may also help swing the players’ decision to choose Manchester United.

The Dortmund striker has scored an impressive 47 goals in 48 appearances for Borussia Dortmund since he joined the club 15 months ago for £23m, but Man United’s ambition to sign the young striker is being challenged by their rivals Manchester City, who are also aggressively looking to sign Haaland ahead of next season.

Manchester United has also been scouting other players asides strikers other positions but the club has prioritized the striker position for the summer transfer window and is willing to spend a huge amount to fill that position with a competent player like Halland. Manchester United may also capitalize on the fact that Dortmund, may have to sell one of their most priced players this summer to survive, and they are also at risk of losing out on next season’s UEFA Champions League qualification.

Do you think Manchester United will compete for the EPL title next season if they are able to sign Erling Haaland?
