The Reds are expected to bolster their squad ahead of next season and have identified two Nigerian international as potential transfer targets
Liverpool could make sensational double swoop for Super Eagles stars Paul Onuachu and Samuel Chukwueze this summer.
According to Liverpool Echo per Fichajes, the Reds will rival Sevilla and RB Leipzig for the services of Onuachu, while Chukwueze could be opened to a move to Anfield.
Onuachu was one of the top marksman in Europe’s top ten leagues this season. The Nigerian international scored 35 goals for Genk in all competitions this season.
33 of his goals came in the Belgian top-flight- the most a Nigerian has managed in a single season in Europe’s top ten leagues.
Chukwueze, meanwhile, has not had the same season as his compatriot, but he has been vital to Villarreal’s run to the Europa League final.
The 22-year-old has managed five assists in Europe’s second club competition and will be hoping to help the Yellow Submarines cause an upset against Manchester United in the final.
