The entertaining game between Liverpool and 10-man Chelsea ended in a one-all draw at Anfield.
It was Chelsea who broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute, after a lovely corner kick was met with a dink header from Kai Havertz, to give the Blues a 1-0 lead.
After an end to end football, the first half ended with drama as James was sent off for handling a goal-bound ball, and the right-back was sent off. Mohamed Salah stepped up and scored the resulting penalty.
Both teams missed the chance to go top of the table following the draw, as they remain second and third on the Premier League table, behind West Ham United, who are top of the log.
