Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, has revealed why his side struggled against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Tuesday.
Despite having 65% of the possession at Stamford Bridge, the Blues played a goalless draw.
Speaking after the game, Jorginho said, chelseafc.com reports: “They pressed very well, coming from behind, pushing forward and pressing forward, moving the whole team as a block.
“Maybe we could have played one-touch more, more triangles. We needed to play more as a team with one-twos. Go forward, go back, and then find the third man, or play behind the line attacking with pace. We didn’t do that and that’s why we struggled.”
Chelsea, who are currently fourth in the Premier League, face fifth placed West Ham United next. A win for Chelsea will see them go three points clear of the Hammers.
