Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his disappointment following Leicester City’s 3-2 defeat against West Ham United in a premier league fixture over the weekend despite scoring a brace.
The Super Eagles forward was involved for 90 minutes alongside compatriot Wilfred Ndidi but they couldn’t stop the Foxes from suffering their second away defeat in 2021.
Iheanacho, who recently won the Premier League Player and Goal of the Month awards, has been in fantastic form, scoring six goals in his last five premier league matches for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
“Disappointed with the result yesterday,” the World Cup winner with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets expressed on social media.
Iheanacho and his Leicester City teammates will have a chance to return to winning ways when they face Southampton in the Semifinal of the English FA Cup on Sunday.
