Manchester United forward, Daniel James, has corrected the false statement that said he supported Liverpool.
The Welshman joined United in the summer of 2019 and has made a total of 45 appearances so far for the Old Trafford club.
Speaking to the Manchester United podcast, James said (via MEN: “When I signed for United, I can’t remember who it was, one of the Sky Sports pundits said: ‘he supports Liverpool'”.
“I was thinking ‘I don’t support Liverpool’ but I never wanted to come out and say I supported Chelsea as a youngster.
“When I started playing at Swansea, it was Chelsea who were the team I followed.”I used to look at their players when I was younger,’ he continued. ‘Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Didier Drogba were all players that I loved.”
