Black Suit Superman? Check. Curse-word Geralt? Coming soon. Having starred as the Man of Steel resurrected in Justice League: Snyder Cut, Henry Cavill makes a return as Geralt in the second season of much-anticipated fantasy TV show, The Witcher.
Geralt was a hit character with his curse words and don’t stress me just pay me attitude in the first season of the show which became a hit and Cavill plays the character again alongside Anya Chalotra who returns as the witch, Yennifer, who’s another fan favourite and Geralt’s love interest, as well as Freya Allan as Ciri.
The first season debuted in 2019 and following delays majorly caused by the pandemic, the second season is now slated to premiere December 17, 2021 and a teaser trailer for it was premiered at the first ever WitcherCon virtual event.
But before then, an anime movie from the franchise titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, will premiere on August 23, 2021.
Nightmare of the Wolf follow’s the story of a young Witcher named Vasemir who overcomes poverty by fighting monsters and demons in exchange for money. A teaser trailer for it was also released at WitcherCon and check it out right here.
