The Belgian superstar has returned to training, but he won’t feature in Saturday’s highly anticipated clash against the Catalan giants.
Eden Hazard has been left out of the Real Madrid squad to face Barcelona in a much awaited El-Clasico at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.
Hazard has not played for the Los Blancos since he the clash against Elche last month. The former Chelsea star had just returned from a two-month layoff for that game, but then suffered a muscle injury afterwards.
Although he returned to training last week, he has not recovered fully and has been left out of the squad to face Ronald Koeman’s men.
The Belgian has not played against Barcelona since his move from Chelsea in 2019. Real Madrid will also be without Dani Carvajal Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
Carvajal and Ramos miss out through injury, while Varane tested positive for Coronavirus just before the win against Liverpool on Tuesday.
