Ghana v Nigeria: 13 Eagles in camp, Amuneke also in Abuja

Ahead of the crucial double headed against Ghana in the 2022 World Cup Play-Off, 13 Super Eagles players have arrived camp.

Moses Simon became the latest player to arrive the Abuja camp of the Super Eagles. The Nantes winger breezed in on Monday night to join the likes of Odion Ighalo and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The three-time African Champions must beat Ghana over two legs if they want to pick one of the five slots available to Africa at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Also in Abuja is newly appointed Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, Emmanuel Amuneke. The former Barcelona winger arrived Abuja on Saturday and he is buzzing especially after the Catalan giants 4-0 demolition of bitter rivals Real Madrid in the El Clasico played on Sunday.

Nigeria will play Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup Play-Off on March 25 and the return leg will be in Abuja, four days later.
