Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 400th goal in domestic leagues as he helped AC Milan to a 2-0 win against Jose Mourinho’s Roma on Sunday night.
It was the Swedes 150th goal in Serie A and it was from a free kick. The big Swede also had a goal rule out by the Video Assistant referee (VAR).
Ibrahimovic scored the opening goal against his former coach Jose Mourinho’s side, as Milan took the lead after 25 minutes while Ivorian international Franck Kessie ensured that the three points were secured witha second goal from the penalty spot.
Rick Karsdorp gave away a free kick just outside the area and the Swede smashed a missile into the bottom corner behind Rui Patricio in the Giallorossi goal.
Zlatan scored his third of the season, his 70th for Milan and 400th goal in domestic leagues. It was Ibrahimovic’s 150th in the Italian top flight including his stints at Inter and Juventus.
AC Milan however scored a late consolation goal through substitute Stephan El Shaarawy who replaced former Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham.
