African Queen, Asisat Oshoala, who is the reigning African women’s player of the year and Barcelona Femeni star has partnered with Noah Dallaji, the founder of African Children Talent Discovery Foundation ACTDF to give hope to the African child.
The Asisat Oshoala Foundation is set out to give hope to the African girl-child through education and sports, while the ACTDF, is set out to discover talents from young Africans and help nurture them to become the next stars.
Since both foundations have a common goal of helping the less privileged and the African children through education and sports, they decided to partner with each other.
The partnership will see both bodies collaborate on how hope will be given to a girl child and the less privileged in Africa.
Their first event together will be the Noah Dallaji Para-Soccer Championship, which comes up in July.
ABZ’s Boluwatitonisola Omoniyi asked Asisat Oshoala on the reason for the partnership, Oshoala said: “it is good when two visionaries come together to achieve a common goal.”
The Super Falcons captain continued: “My foundation is set out to help the girl child, and our daddy (Noah Dallaji) made me understand that help is for all, that’s why we decided to extend a helping hand to the para-athletes, and we hope to do more.”
This particular event aims to support the para-athlete and also donate wheelchairs for them.
