Nigeria’s Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze has been passed fit for Villarreal’s Europa League final clash against Manchester United Stadion Energa Gdańsk in Poland.
Chukwueze has been injured for a few weeks, and he returned to full training last week, and he passed his fitness test as he made the trip to Gdańsk with his teammates, ahead of the UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United.
Villarreal boss, Unai Emery rested the Nigerian in the Yellow Submarine’s 2-1 loss to Real Madrid over the weekend and will be ready to unleash the “African Robben” against the Red Devils, but Chukwueze is expected to start from the bench.
The 22-year-old forward has 11 appearances in the Europa League so far this season, scoring one goal and providing 4 assists for Villarreal, and he will like to join his compatriots like Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi to win a major trophy this season.
