Euro 2020: Sterling, Kane fire England past Germany to progress into the Q/final

Raheem Sterling and captain, Harry Kane were the heroes for the Three Lions as England defeated Germany 2-0 at Wembley.

Sterling broke the deadlock in the 75th minute, after a lovely move from Jack Grealish to Luke Shaw, who sent in a low pass into the 6-yard, and the Manchester City forward tapped into the back of the net.

Captain, Harry Kane made it 2-0 in the 86th minute, following another combination between Grealish and Shaw, as the Aston Villa captain sent in a dink cross and Kane headed the ball past Manuel Neuer.

Germany are now out of the tournament, in what is Joachim Low’s last game in charge, while England will take on the winner between Sweden and Ukraine.
