The game was 1-1 after 120 minutes before heading to penalties.
The 22-year-old saved the penalty that ensured the Italians defeated England and won their second European championship in history.
Leonardo Bonucci was named the star of the final after he scored the equaliser for Italy in the 67th minute.

Italy have now gone 34 games unbeaten.
