Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has joined newly promoted premier league side, Watford on a season long loan.
The Nigerian who played for Turkish side, Galatasaray on loan from Stoke City passed his medical with the Hornets on Thursday before signing the loan deal with an option to extend.
Etebo began his career at Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Warri Wolves before switching to Portuguese outfit Feirense in 2016.
The 25-year-old helped Feirense to gain promotion before leaving for Spain where he joined Las Palmas in La Liga. He signed for Championship side, Stoke City in 2018 and spent time on loan at Gatefe and Galatasaray before his latest move.
Etebo will be playing with fellow Nigerians at Watford – William Ekong and Isaac Success.
Etebo has made 38 appearances for Nigeria and was part of the Olympic squad that won Bronze at the 2016 tournament in Rio, Brazil.
