Manchester City midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne was the hero as Belgium came from a goal down to defeat Denmark 2-1.
Denmark scored the opening goal just after one minute after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg charged at Youri Tielemans to assist Yussuf Poulsen, who fired past Thibaut Courtois.
Second-half substitute de Bruyne gave a lovely pass to Thorgan Hazard – the younger brother of Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard – to level for Belgium in the 55th minute.
De Bruyne then became the hero in the 71st minute as he combined with the senior Hazard to blast home the ball with his weak foot to confirm the win for the Red Devils.
Belgium became the second team to qualify for the second round of the European Championship, after Italy. Denmark, on the other hand, remain bottom of Group B.
