The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Indomitable Lions on Cameroon in the second friendly game in four days at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt and Gernot Rohr has listed some players that will start the match.
Rohr fielded a predictable lineup in the first friendly, which ended in a loss for Nigeria, and with injuries to vice-captain William Troost-Ekong and Jamilu Collins, the coach has named some players that will come in to replace them.
Speaking after a training session, Rohr said: “There will be some changes in the team, Francis Uzoho will be in goal, [Ahmed] Musa will start because he is fit, and we lost [William] Troost-Ekong so Valentine [Ozornwafor] will come in for the first time.”
The Franco-German then went on to speak on how his team has never won a single game in Austria. He said: “There matches are made to test some players who have not played so much and also to have new organization maybe try something different and we want to win it also because we have never won in Austria after four games.”
The 67-year-old also revealed that Moses Simon played as a full back in training, he added: We have Moses Simon who can play full-back, he did it very well in the training session and [Abraham] Marcus who normally is a winger but had to play left-back and did well.
