Best African Player in EPL: Rashford snubs Super Eagles stars

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has revealed the best African player in the English player during a Q&A session with his Twitter followers on Tuesday.

The England international snubbed Super Eagles stars including Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Josh Maja, Kelechi Iheancho, and Wilfred Ndidi as he went for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane as the best African player in the English league.

Mane is a Senegalese international and has been tipped by many to be the second African player to win the Ballon d’Or after George Weah.

The Manchester United forward was specifically asked to name his best African player since he made his debut in 2015.

“I think there’s some great African talent in [the] league at [the] moment. Mane particularly,” he said.
