Prince Nelson Enwerem has told other housemates from the Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition that he was competitive during the period of their stay on the show because, duh, it was a competition so anyone who couldn’t take the heat of it should not have come on the show to start with.
He made this known during the argument over some of the sneaky tactics housemates employed during some of the tasks and games played on the show, with a number of housemates believing Prince was a threat in the house due to his competitive approach to most things on the show.
Prince, however, said he was only competitive because they were all obviously on a show that required competition since a winner would emerge in the end. “If you couldn’t take the heat why come in the first place,” the former BBNaija Lockdown housemate said at the last reunion episode of June.
When Ebuka asked if people saw him as a threat in the house, Prince answered, “a lot!” much to the bemusement of majority of other housemates present. Nengi then pointed out the level of Prince’s competitiveness and how he couldn’t handle losing seeing as he blamed her for them losing a task during the show.
Praise and Neo were in agreement that Prince was a threat in the house and both gave instances of times he showed his competitiveness. According to Praise, “He [Prince] was a threat in the house because he was very competitive.”
He added, “I was very competitive. It’s just that when I lose, I still come out smiling. You decide to go to Big Brother, the main goal is to win… but if you don’t win, it’s fine.”
Ozo on his part did not agree entirely as he felt no one was a threat in the house. According to him, “I never saw anyone there as a threat simply because… going into the house I just knew I just had to go there, be myself, a task would come up, do my bit. If I win, fine. If I don’t win, it’s okay.”
Was Prince the most competitive housemate during the Lockdown edition of BBNaija or there was someone else who took things a little to personal when it came to competition?
