Bad news for Real Madrid after victory over Barcelona in the El Clasico

Spanish champions, Real Madrid defeated their rival, Barcelona 2-1 in the second El Gran Clasico of the season at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano, but the Blancos received a piece of bad news afterwards.

The Merengues will not be enjoying their victory so much, as one of their key players have been ruled out for the rest of the season, while another is having some pain. 

Ever reliable winger, Lucas Vasquez, who was substituted off in the 43rd minute, after a collision with Sergio Busquets, has torn his Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Brazil defender, Éder Militão, who has been the backup since the absence of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, also complained about some discomfort after the game. He will be monitored by the medical team. 

Real Madrid will travel to England to play Liverpool at Anfield for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League clash, with a 3-1 advantage.
