According to reports, North London club Arsenal are still keen on signing Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace this summer.
The Gunners’ wanted the Eagles in 2019 but their bid of £40m fell well below Palace’s £80m asking price, and the Ivory Coast international remained at Selhurst Park despite his supposed desire to leave.
Arsenal eventually signed Nicolas Pepe from Ligue 1 side Lille but the £72m winger has failed to light up the premier league and Mikel Arteta is allegedly keen to strike a deal for his compatriot.
90Min claims that the North London club will attempt to sign Zaha away from Selhurst Park this summer, but they would have to sell before they can buy, while Palace are open to cashing in for a lower figure given their own need to raise funds.
The 28-year-old would prefer to stay in London despite interest from clubs in Ligue 1 and Serie A. Zaha has scored nine goals and two assists from 22 Premier League appearances this term and his current deal ends in 2023.
