Former Inter Milan striker, Adriano, has reacted to Inter Milan’s 2020/21 Serie A win.
Inter secured the title early in May, ending their long wait for the Serie A trophy. The Nerazzurri last won the title in 2010.
Speaking to FcInterNews.it (via Sempreinter.com), he said: “I’m very happy Inter have won the Scudetto. I toasted their success with my family, it was beautiful.”
The former Brazil international has also praised striker Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian was instrumental to Inter Milan winning the league this season.
Lukaku currently has 23 goals and has provided 10 assists in the Serie A this season.
“I’m sending Lukaku my best wishes, he’s a phenomenal player and a fantastic person,” Adriano added. “Romelu knows that though, I called him recently so I could congratulate him.”
Adriano reportedly score 74 goals in 177 games for Inter during his playing days.
